Slightly tangential to Walking is underrated - but Dr.SurgeonPGH reminded me β€” has anyone else noticed changes in their alcohol tolerance?

I know it is not exactly on-topic but it seems related enough to ask here rather than starting a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered β€” I did search first.

Relevant to Walking is underrated - 10k β€” here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 7.6% β†’ 5.5%, triglycerides 205 β†’ 105 mg/dL, hsCRP 8.0 β†’ 1.1 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 9 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

Want to share my personal experience related to Walking is underrated - 10k since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 276 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 16 months later: I am down 61 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The Walking is underrate aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.
