This is exactly right. zoe_NC articulated what I have been trying to explain to my friends for months. The Loose skin after major aspect is what made the difference for me.

OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Loose skin after major.
To answer BethLabQueen: my doctor and I discussed the options and went with brand.
Quick update: I have noticed more improvement since posting this. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

Slightly tangential to Loose skin after major but Dr.LeslieOBGYN reminded me — has anyone else noticed changes in their alcohol tolerance?
I know it is not exactly on-topic but it seems related enough to ask here rather than starting a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered — I did search first.

Exactly this. My pharmacist said the same thing about Loose skin after.
