Moderator note: Great discussion, everyone. Just a reminder to keep things civil and evidence-based.

Thread quality is excellent — keep it up. 👍

Clinical perspective on The scale has not moved in 3 weeks - I:

I have managed roughly 300 patients on GLP-1 therapy and this topic comes up frequently. What the data shows — and what I see in practice — is that proper titration prevents most adverse events.

For this specific question, I would recommend: reviewing the relevant clinical guidelines.

I respect Admin perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: The scale has not moved in 3 — the effect size varies considerably by population.

I am not saying Admin wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The STEP data specifically shows dose-dependent variation.

Reading this thread on The scale has not moved hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 261 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

7 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 36 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about The scale has not — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️
