Hot take incoming: has anyone dealt with month 2.

I know this is controversial here but I think the conventional wisdom on this topic might be overly simplistic. Before you grab your pitchforks, hear me out.

My argument is based on conversations with my provider who has a different perspective.

Change my mind. Seriously — I want to be wrong about this if I am.

To answer the question about Has anyone dealt with month 2 and i have lost nothing - normal??? — in my experience this comes down to a few key factors.

I have been dealing with this for several months now, and what I have found is that individual responses really do vary. That said, the general consensus on Has anyone dealt with month 2 seems solid.

What specifically worked for me: tracking everything in a spreadsheet. I would suggest MarkLI_maint try the same approach and reporting back.

Completely agree with BariatricNurseD. I would add that Has anyone dealt with month 2 also has implications for body composition that sometimes get overlooked in these discussions.

In my case, following a similar approach led to fewer side effects compared to what I was doing before.

Subscribing to this thread. Has anyone dealt with is exactly what I've been researching. 🙏

As a healthcare provider, I want to add some clinical context to this discussion on Has anyone dealt with month 2 and i have.

Building on what MarkLI_maint said — the evidence base here is well-established. The key publications to reference are from the STEP program[1].

Key clinical points:

  1. Efficacy is dose-dependent and typically requires 4-5 weeks to reach steady state
  2. Side effect profile is predictable and usually manageable with standard protocols
  3. Monitoring should include baseline labs and follow-up at 3-month intervals
  4. Patient education significantly improves outcomes and adherence

Standard disclaimer: this is educational, not individualized medical advice.
