OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Novo Nordisk supply chain.

To answer Admin: yes, I am on compounded sema from a 503B pharmacy.

Quick update: things are still going well. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

Relevant to Novo Nordisk supply chain — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 8.4% → 5.5%, triglycerides 213 → 113 mg/dL, hsCRP 8.0 → 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 17 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

Want to share my personal experience related to Novo Nordisk supply chain since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 269 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 14 months later: I am down 64 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The Novo Nordisk supply aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.

Dr.RaviCardio — that is really helpful context on Novo Nordisk supply chain. Follow-up question: did you change anything about your diet at the same time?

I am in a similar situation (month 2) and trying to set realistic expectations.

Want to share my personal experience related to Novo Nordisk supply chain since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in October 2024 at 286 lbs with prediabetes and hypertension. My endocrinologist prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 6 months later: I am down 71 lbs, my labs have normalized, and I am off 2 of my 3 medications. The Novo Nordisk supply aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This community helped me every step of the way.
