Same experience here with Do I really need. MikeFit_NJ described it perfectly.

Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 281 lbs and felt like I would tried everything

I respect EndoResFellow perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Do I really need bloodwork — the subgroup analyses show meaningful heterogeneity.

I am not saying EndoResFellow wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Reading this thread on Do I really need hits close to home. Night shift nurse — I started at 267 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

13 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 42 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Do I really need — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

oliver_london — that is really helpful context on Do I really need. Follow-up question: did you change anything about your diet at the same time?

I am in a similar situation (month 2) and trying to set realistic expectations.
