GLP-1 and arterial inflammation is not that straightforward in my experience

This is exactly right. MikeFit_NJ articulated what I have been trying to explain to my friends for months. The GLP-1 and arterial aspect is what made the difference for me.

Reading this thread on GLP-1 and arterial hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 273 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

9 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 48 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about GLP-1 and arterial — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

Dr.RenalNash — that is really helpful context on GLP-1 and arterial. Follow-up question: how long did you wait before increasing your dose?

I am in a similar situation (week 4) and trying to set realistic expectations.

To answer Dr.EndoIndy's question specifically:

From a clinical standpoint, GLP-1 and arterial is a reasonable concern that deserves a thorough answer.

The short answer: the evidence supports this approach for most patients.

The longer answer involves reviewing the specific clinical trial data relevant to your question, which I am happy to elaborate on if helpful.
