Slightly tangential to Medical tourism for GLP-1 but Dr.EndoEP reminded me — has anyone else noticed changes in their alcohol tolerance?

I know it is not exactly on-topic but it seems related enough to ask here rather than starting a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered — I did search first.

+1 to Dr.EndoEP. Especially the point about "A few questions about your Medical touri..." — I have seen the same in my own experience with Medical tourism for GLP-1.

TrialTracker_MD — that is really helpful context on Medical tourism for GLP-1. Follow-up question: what labs did your doctor order to monitor this?

I am in a similar situation (just started) and trying to set realistic expectations.

To answer matt_MKE's question specifically:

From a clinical standpoint, Medical tourism for GLP-1 is an area where we have good evidence.

The short answer: baseline labs + quarterly monitoring is the standard of care.

The longer answer involves understanding the mechanism of action at the receptor level, which I am happy to elaborate on if helpful.
