My endo and I disagree about japan glp-1 access january 2024 and I want a reality check.

They are saying that I do not need to worry about it but everything I have read here suggests otherwise.

I trust this community's collective knowledge but I also do not want to go against medical advice without good reason. What would you do?

Dr.SportsMedIN's experience with Japan GLP-1 access resonates deeply with mine. I went through almost the identical process — starting dose, titration timeline, side effects, everything.

The main difference: I started 3 months later. But the overall trajectory has been remarkably similar. Down 38 lbs in 13 months.

One thing I would add that Dr.SportsMedIN did not mention: the mental health improvements were just as significant.

Thanks for sharing this, Dr.SportsMedIN. A few questions about your Japan GLP-1 access experience:

  1. What dose worked best for you?
  2. How long before you noticed appetite suppression kicking in?
  3. Did your endo have any specific recommendations about Japan GLP-1?

I am in a similar boat and trying to learn from others' experiences before my next appointment.

OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Japan GLP-1 access .

To answer hannah_MT: I get my labs done through Quest every 3 months.

Quick update: my latest labs came back even better. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

Relevant to Japan GLP-1 access January — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 8.0% → 5.3%, triglycerides 191 → 91 mg/dL, hsCRP 6.0 → 0.9 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 7 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.
